The Big Ten Network will feature astronaut and Aerospace Engineering alumnus Michael Hopkins in the network's LiveBIG program airing 11:30 p.m. Eastern time, Wednesday, January 8.
Hopkins has been aboard the International Space Station since September. At the end of October, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration arranged for a handful of AE students to ask questions of Hopkins in real time while he was in space. BTN filmed the event, as well as conducted interviews with AE Department Head Philippe Geubelle; Prof. Emeritus John Prussing, one of Hopkins' mentors; and current AE student Erik Lopez.
