Professor Greg Elliott has been named the recipient of the 2007 Collins Award for Innovative Teaching. The recipient of this award is selected for recognition on the basis of outstanding development and/or use of new and innovative teaching methods. This teaching award is made possible through the generous donations for W. Leighton Collins, former faculty member (1929-1965) and also former Executive Director of ASEE (1955-1971). Mr. Collins was a pioneer and leader of ASEE and through his subsequent consulting has helped shape engineering instruction in the United States.
