AE Groups Receive Engineering Open House Awards

The Aerospace Engineering department took home six awards, including three 1st place awards and the Most Popular Exhibit as voted on by all the visitors. This year's Engineering Open House was held on Friday, March 9 and Saturday, March 10.

A 6-foot rocket built by the AE 498 RLB class was fired

between two bridges over the Bone Yard Creek.

Students learned why we went to the moon in the first place and why NASA wants to go again.  They also experienced the Lunar Explorer, a fascinating Moon simulation program developed from an actual NASA Mission.
